CHICAGO (AP) — White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. is back in the starting lineup after being sidelined by a sprained right pinky finger.Robert got hurt on a slide into third base during Wednesday’s 9-2 victory over the New York Yankees. He served as a pinch runner in the 10th inning of Friday night’s 7-6 loss to Milwaukee, but Tuesday’s game at Wrigley Field against the crosstown Cubs was his first start since the injury.The All-Star slugger said he isn’t 100 percent, but he thinks he can play.“I said it before, my goal this year is to play as many games as I can,” Robert said through a translator. “I won’t let any minor issues or soreness or stuff keep me out of the field. MIAMI (AP) — Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve left Tuesday’s game against the Miami Marlins after fouling the first pitch he saw off his shin.Altuve limped around the plate for a couple minutes before finishing the at-bat. He reached on an infield single before Alex Bregman grounded into a double play in the next at-bat.Altuve entered the game four hits away from 2,000 for his career. He now needs just three more to reach the milestone.It wasn’t yet clear if Altuve was taken out for precautionary reasons. DENVER (KDVR) -- After spending almost 24 hours lost in the Denver International Airport, Breezy, a year-old Bengal cat, was found hiding in the Southwest ramp area.Breezy and her owner Ginger Thompson flew to Denver for a cat competition. While boarding their flight on the way back to Washington, a mishap with the cat carrier caused Breezy to fall between the airplane door and jet bridge and onto the tarmac.
